Jordan Michael Gage was born in Philadelphia Pa on November 27th 1988 to Dawn and Michael Manley. He was educated in the Philadelphia School District where he attended Girard College and later graduated from James Madison High School.
Jordan who was known by J Rock to all his friends and family had a huge heart and was loved by all who knew him. He was forward, fearless, outspoken and also a huge jokester. He could be a bit of an a**hole at time but that was part of his charm. If he loved you, you knew it. There was nothing that he would not do for you. Jordan had a way about him that when he smiled, it would light up the entire room and you were happy to be in his presence. He shared a special relationship with his Aunt Josephine and his Uncle James Black who also shared an essential part in making him into the man he became.
Jordan loved to tinker with electronics and also fixing and detailing cars. He recently opened up his own car detailing shop in his beloved Germantown. If you wanted that fresh clean car you knew to go to Uptown Auto Spa.
Jordan shared a special bond with his dear friend Deanna and on January 8, 2009 he became a father to one of his loves Jordin and through his relationship with Deanna he gained his second love Jahiya his bonus daughter. If you knew Jordan you knew that his girls were his heart and his loves.
He was preceded in death by his Grandmother Mary Manley, Grandmother Barbara Gage, Grandfather Solomon Scrivens and Aunt Kim Uber.
Isaiah 40 verse 31
But those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.
He leaves to cherish his memory his two beloved daughters Jordin and Jahiya. His parents Dawn and Michael Manley. His brothers Earl and Ashton Gage. Nieces Kamira, Brooklyn, Lamiah. Nephews Brandon, Ashton and Nasir. His favorite Cousin Ayla who was more like a sister and a host of family and friends.
